Materials :

A Plus Tutorial has taken the time to compile many practice tests released by the Nevada Department of Education, Washoe County School District, and Clark County School District.  These tests are intended to be used to prepare students to pass the Math Proficiency Exam. 

A Plus Tutorial understands the importance of practice through repetition.  That is why we have created our own practice tests as well.  Some of our tests are a comprehensive review of all the topics included on the Math Proficiency.  Other tests concentrate on just one or two of the individual topics.

A Plus Tutorial also understands that some students haven't mastered all the topics included on the Math Proficiency Exam.  That is why our materials may include a workbook for remediation of those skills.  

The one time cost of this material is  FREE.

In-office Lessons :

A Plus Tutorial offers invaluable 60 minute tutoring lessons to accompany the above materials.  All tutoring is done by appointment in our Reno, Nevada tutoring center.  

While in our tutoring center, our tutors work closely with students to ensure their understanding of the practice questions and the math concepts behind them.  We usually allow students to complete 10 to 15 problems at a time.  We grade each and every problem.

Here is where we are different ....  It is not enough to grade each problem!  Telling a student they got it wrong won't help them get it right next time.  That is why we help students correct every wrong answer and explain how to get it correct next time.  

Each 60 minute lesson costs  $ 35.00.
